Management Summary
For several years, the council minutes were processed using simple software and the data was stored on an in-house server. For security reasons and to relieve the IT managers, the parish refrained from this solution and became aware of 4teamwork.
Customer
The Steffisburg Reformed Parish has around 10,100 members and consists of four church districts, each with its own church. It is supported by committed authorities, more than 400 volunteers and a large team of social deacons, pastors, catechists, musicians, administrative and sigrist staff.
Requirements
With the outsourcing of data to a computer centre, it was appropriate to introduce a contemporary and innovative solution for electronic business administration with meeting management and protocol administration. It was important that a relationship of trust was quickly established between the parish and the provider of a business administration solution.
Solution / Result
The parish's system of order was no longer up to date at that time and had to be revised and adapted. In the following months, in addition to the challenging daily business, the conversion was worked on step by step. The project management team of 4teamwork AG actively supported the parish. Subsequently, the employees were trained and OneGov GEVER was officially introduced on 1 September 2019. An important advantage of OneGov GEVER is that data can be accessed securely from anywhere via the internet. The well-functioning support from 4teamwork is also available at all times.
