User-friendly records management with OneGov GEVER
Management Summary
The State Archives of Basel City wanted an intuitive records management tool with high traceability and contact management. OneGov GEVER convinced with its standard functions and the possibility to extend the contact module according to the customer's wishes.
Customer
The State Archive Basel-Stadt is the historical memory of the Canton Basel-Stadt and the city of Basel. It serves to safeguard and make available unique cultural assets. It also supports the information management of the cantonal administration.
Challenge
The State Archives of Basel-Stadt required a records management solution with a high level of user-friendliness, traceability, transparent office integrations and standardised interfaces (eCH-0039 and eCH-0160). The integration of the existing contact module was also central for the State Archives.
Solution
Within half a year, the standard functions were configured and the individual further development of the contact module was carried out. The stringent implementation of the dossier principle provides the desired structure and the platform independence provides flexibility with regard to the place of work. In December 2016, 30 users were able to successfully start working with their new paperless workplace.
